About

Hey! I’m Patrick, and I’ve been a media professional for the last 7+ years. Starting as a production assistant for daily broadcast television, I worked my way from live sets and cubicles to the field as a remote videographer, finding a passion in still photography and fine art. My skills in picture making led to me to the United States Capital, where I documented a tumultuous government in the depths of a Trump presidency. The ever changing demands of modern news saw me take on the roles video editor, studio floor director, and associate producer. Eventually, I became the go to man for sizzle reel opens, creating short and tight previews of the day’s news for each broadcast.

While I spent most of my time in the editing bay, I have also played key roles in improving newsroom and studio practices. I have initiated and led the development of improved standard operating procedures for editors and videographers, including standardized color workflows across multiple camera systems, long term footage storage and organization overhauls, and smoother communication between reporters, producers, and editors.

Right now, I really enjoy seeing the whole picture, cutting and assembling stories and experiences, and making them look good in the process. I am passionate about art, about films, but most of all, editing. Feel free to reach out if you think I would be a good fit for your video or film production team!
